What the Demo edition is for
The Demo edition is a free, time-unlimited way to evaluate HyperION on your own machine before paying anything. It runs the same audio engine as the paid editions, so what you hear and measure in the Demo is what you get in Standard and Ultimate.
What you can test
Record audio and MIDI, arrange sections on the timeline and edit in the piano roll and step sequencer
Load your existing VST3 instruments and effects and check that they scan, open and behave correctly
Set up your audio interface and measure real round-trip latency with your ASIO driver
Work with the factory library of samples, presets and effect plug-ins
Confirm CPU behaviour with the track counts and plug-in chains you actually use
What paid editions add
Paid editions expand saving and export, while Standard includes 100 AI credits and Ultimate removes the AI-credit ceiling. Everything else — the workflow, the engine and plug-in hosting — is what you evaluate in the Demo.
Before you install
HyperION is available for 64-bit Windows 10/11, macOS Universal and Linux x64 or ARM64. A modern x64 CPU with at least 4 cores, 8 GB of RAM, SSD storage and a compatible audio device are the minimum; 8 or more cores and 16–32 GB of RAM are recommended for larger projects and the AI features.
