HyperION DAW – Frequently Asked Questions

Is HyperION DAW free?

Yes. HyperION offers a free Demo so you can test the current workflow, audio-device support and compatibility before purchasing. Standard and Ultimate are paid editions with one-time lifetime licenses.

What is the difference between Standard and Ultimate?

Standard includes the core professional DAW workflow. Ultimate includes everything in Standard plus music-focused model integrations, stem separation, audio-to-MIDI conversion, MIDI-generation tools, HyperTune and the complete creative feature set.

Is the license really lifetime? How many computers?

Yes. Standard and Ultimate are one-time purchases with a lifetime license for the purchased edition. One license may be activated on up to three computers belonging to the licensed customer.

Does HyperION support VST plugins?

Yes. HyperION supports VST3 hosting as part of its professional DAW workflow, alongside recording, audio and MIDI editing, sequencing, instruments, effects, mixing and export.

How do I claim my license key after purchase?

For Paddle purchases, complete checkout and follow the Claim License Key page to receive your license. Gumroad and Microsoft Store purchases follow the delivery and activation process of the original storefront.

What is your refund policy?

Review the Refund Policy page for eligibility and current terms. If a refund is approved, the generated license is permanently deactivated. Gumroad and Microsoft Store purchases follow their respective storefront policies.

Does HyperION work on Mac or Linux?

HyperION currently runs on 64-bit Windows 10 and Windows 11. There is no native macOS or Linux edition listed in the current documentation. Check the official releases and system requirements pages for future platform announcements, and use the free Demo to verify compatibility before purchasing.

What are the system requirements?

Minimum requirements are 64-bit Windows 10 or 11, a modern x64 CPU with at least 4 cores, 8 GB RAM, SSD storage and a compatible audio device. An ASIO interface is recommended. For larger projects and AI features, 8+ CPU cores and 16–32 GB RAM are recommended. Actual needs vary by track count, plug-ins, sample rate and AI models.

Which AI tools are included in Ultimate?

Ultimate includes AI stem separation, Track to MIDI audio-to-MIDI conversion, HyperTune vocal pitch correction, Demo Song Composer and music-focused MIDI-generation or model integrations. These tools support editable music-production tasks inside the DAW rather than operating as a separate general-purpose content generator. Core recording, editing, mixing and export remain part of the same HyperION workflow.

Where can I get support?

Use the Contact page for technical support, license questions, activation help, feedback or partnership inquiries. Include your HyperION edition, operating-system version and a clear description of the issue, but never publish a license key or private credentials. The team usually responds within 24–48 hours.
